These suttas have been expertly translated into contemporary English with meticulous scholarly rigor. They are not mere interpretations or essays, but actual written discourses historically attributed to Siddhartha Gotama, the Buddha himself, who founded Buddhism around 2,500 years ago.

Furthermore, this app offers an extensive and thorough selection of essays contributed by renowned monks and scholars that delve into various aspects of Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and practice.

This high-quality material is suitable for both personal interest and academic study. In fact, much of it has been published in printed form as well.

To enhance the reader's experience, this software provides a range of usability features. The reader functions similarly to a web browser, with the ability to double-tap on the screen to hide or display the toolbar and status bar. Both landscape and portrait modes are supported, and bookmarks can be utilized to save the current scroll position.
